Two more days to go b4 Hari Raya Haji..... & the best part, it falls on a Sunday, which only mean tat we didnt have to report for werk on the Monday (1 more day of lazing ard!!!) ... hmm... speaking of this festive day, i can still vividly remember the time my dearest parents left for their haj pilgrimage 3 yrs ago....
It was a hectic year for us during tat period of time ... my parents went barely 3 months after we shifted to our new house ... it was the first time tat i was left alone wif my 2 elder bro on our own for so long but it was certainly a gd experience ... all of us does our own stuff as usual .... but its kinda different .. the family warmth is jus not there .... thanks goodness, my parents were back safe and sound ...2 months after their return from the pilgrimage, my eldest bro got married ... the preparation was endless ...
since then, Hari Raya Haji will always be celebrated the same way as Hari Raya Puasa...on the eve, we will make the preparation & start cooking .... not forgetting the 'Ketupat"...on the day itself, after the men came back from prayer, we will have our family breakfast .. will only go to Grandma's place after 'Zohor' prayer ... the rest of the day will be lazing around & watching the telly ...
come to think of it.. all this festive day is the only time we get to see each & every family members, all traditionally dressed & catching up on things... looking forward to the day ....
